Preserve Our Heritage.
Honor Our Defenders.
Educate Our Future.
To Preserve and Display items from every war or conflict our country has been involved in. We do this to educate the public about our Military history, the "Cost of Freedom".
We are selling Memorial Pavers to go in the new Veterans Park. We were able to lay our first batch of pavers pre Covid, but second batch has been delayed due to factory closings, etc. We hope to have more laid in the coming months. Thank you for your patience.
We began as a group of veterans gathered around a table at breakfast. We all had memorabilia we had saved from our time in the military, items we had purchased, or items that were given to us.
We realized that most of our nation today doesn't realize what it has cost our country to gain and hold on to the Freedom we all take for granted every day. From that the "Cost of Freedom Veterans Museum" was born. This was a way we could honor those who have sacrificed so much to keep our country Free.
After a long break due to Covid-19 (the age and safety of not only the public but our Veterans who volunteer were a priority), we are so pleased to say that we will reopen Saturday May 15, 2021 just in time for our city's Polk Salat Festival. Please come by and say, "Hi" and support our veterans.
Sign up to hear from us about events.
We believe in sharing our Veterans' history and enjoy meeting other Veterans and would love for you to come by and visit.

We believe everyone should be aware of the tremendous sacrifices made by the courageous men and women who have fought for our country since the beginning. We welcome anyone wanting to visit and school groups as we believe this information needs to be imparted to future generations.
